Why maintenance plans make sense for stone surfaces

Natural stone is a living material. It breathes, absorbs, and reacts to its environment. A floor that looks perfect today will start to show microscopic wear within months — especially in high-traffic areas like entryways, kitchens, and bathrooms. The difference between a floor that stays beautiful for decades and one that needs a full restoration every few years comes down entirely to the consistency of care it receives.

Professional maintenance isn't just cleaning. Every time we visit on a maintenance plan, we're inspecting the surface for early signs of etching, wear, or seal failure. We address them before they become visible problems. That's the value you're paying for — prevention, not just cleaning.

Our three maintenance tiers

The Essential Plan at $149 per month is designed for homeowners with one or two stone surfaces — a bathroom floor, a kitchen countertop, or a single-room marble installation. You get one professional visit per quarter (four times a year), a buff and polish to maintain the finish between deep cleans, priority scheduling, 10% off any additional work, and an annual deep restoration included in the plan.

The Premium Plan at $299 per month is our most popular offering, and it's built for luxury homes where marble is present throughout — foyers, multiple bathrooms, kitchen countertops, stairways. You get a professional visit every six weeks (eight to nine times a year), a full surface inspection on every visit, minor chip and etch repair included, same-week priority scheduling, 15% off any restoration work, and a full annual restoration included.

The Commercial Property Plan starts at $599 per month and is built for hotels, restaurants, HOAs, office buildings, and property managers with high-traffic stone surfaces across one or more properties. This is a custom program — pricing is based on square footage, surface types, and visit frequency. It includes bi-weekly or monthly visits, written condition reports after every service, one included emergency call-out per month, preferred pricing on all restoration work, and a dedicated scheduling window so service never disrupts your operations.

The math on why a plan saves you money

A full marble floor restoration for a typical luxury home in the DC area runs between $1,500 and $4,000 depending on square footage and condition. If you're doing that every two years because of accumulated wear and neglect, you're spending $750–$2,000 per year on reactive work. A Premium Plan at $299 per month ($3,588 per year) eliminates that cycle entirely — your floor never gets to the point where a full restoration is needed, and the annual restoration in the plan covers it proactively.

For commercial clients, the calculation is even more significant. A hotel lobby marble floor restoration can run $10,000–$40,000 and typically requires the lobby to be partially closed. A monthly maintenance program at $800–$1,200 per month keeps the surface looking impeccable year-round with zero operational disruption.
